Five Affordable Ways To exfoliate

Exfoliating is an essential step in SKIN Care because that's the point where you get rid of dead skin cells. There are two forms of exfoliating: Physical and Chemical.

Physical exfoliating: This involves using something tangible with the ability to get rid of the surface build up. It won't be able to penetrate the skin but it will work on the surface cells.

1.  Tooth brush: This should be soft brittle and brand new. Don't use old tooth brush!

2. Face brush: Most come with soft and hard brush for face and feet.be sure to read the manual when you purchase one to know the correct one to use. I used these brushes years ago and it's best to use them once or twice a week only. Daily use can irritate your skin. I'd suggest this for pregnant women who can't use any form of exfoliating serum due to reaction to smells.

3. Face Sponge: Using this once a week can help with manual exfoliating. The sponge should be soft too!

4. Fingers: When you apply your face scrub, fingers are most helpful in getting those scrubs to work. Using the scrubs twice will limit irritation too.

2. Chemical Exfoliating: The best and most effective. These are in the form of cleansers, serums, creams and even toners which are able to penetrate the skin and work on the dead cells. They separate the bond that holds the dead skin cells to your skin. Due to this, they are able to also treat the skin conditions like pimples. Some of these serums can also brighten the skin in the process eg Glycolic acid.

Salicylic acid is known as a Beta Hydroxy acid that's able to treat acne too.

(check previous post on toners )AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) eg Glycolic acid, Mandelic acid and others have become easily accessible and affordable too. However, do your research to find the most suitable for your skin type and skin needs.
