How To: Dark Armpit Treatment

Dark Armpit can be a bit embarrassing and uncomfortable too. A couple of solutions have come up in recent times. Have you heard of Kojie soap and The Ordinary glycolic toning solution?

What is the cause of dark armpit in the first place ? From friction due to rubbing, using deodorants, medical conditions such as diabetes and pcos(poly cystic ovarian syndrome)

Identifying the cause is a major step to resolving the dark armpit issue.

If it’s caused by a deodorant, then you need to switch to a new one. There are some brightening deodorants on the market such as Nivea extra whitening.

How to get rid of the dark Armpit

The first step is to get an anti bacterial soap or wash in addition to the Kojic soap.

Apply the Anti bacteria soap first, wash it off and follow with the Kojie soap. Then do a final rinse when you are done bathing. This is a very simple and fast process.

The Glycolic Toning Solution

This is an exfoliating toner from The Ordinary and has the ability to also brighten.

After cleaning the armpit, dry your armpit and pour the glycolic toning solution into cotton. Use it to sweep around your armpit. This has to be done at night since glycolic acid can cause your skin to be sensitive to the sun.

You can use the glycolic toning solution about three times a week whereas the Kojic and anti bacteria soaps can be day and night.

This dark Armpit treatment will help to also get rid of odours too!

You can apply this treatment to the area under the breast too.
