How To Use Inkey List Glycolic Toner

The Inkey List is another affordable brand although I haven't had much success with about 5 of out of 6 products, there are others who love it.

The main issue for me was coconut oil in those products. My skin doesn't do well with coconut oil hence the reason I didn't like The Ordinary squalene cleanser too.

From their website:

This 10% Glycolic Acid exfoliating toner helps to reduce the appearance of pores, blackheads and fine lines, as well as support smoother and brighter skin.

Derived from sugar cane, it works to remove dead skin on the surface to help improve the overall appearance of skin texture and brightness without drying out the skin. 5% Witch Hazel to help reduce excess oil and soothe.

The first thing about the Inkey List Glycolic Toner is that is used only at night time. That means, you have to cleanse your skin, apply a hydrating serum or toner and then follow with the glycolic. They indicate that you can use hyaluronic acid  before applying the toner. Essentially, the hydrating product minimizes any drying effect of the glycolic acid.

In addition, you can use a salicylic acid based cleanser first such as their salicylic acid cleanser if you are treating acne.

What I love about the Inkey List is the education they provide on their leaflets regarding what the ingredients do, when and how to use their products as well as how to layer them in your routine.

Have you tried the Inkey List brand?
