Kojic Acid: Kojie Soap

What is Kojie acid and what does it do?

From healthline:

Kojic acid inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosine, which is an amino acid that’s needed to produce melanin. Melanin is the pigment that affects hair, skin, and eye color. Because it inhibits the production of melanin, kojic acid can have a lightening effect.

Kojie acid is made from a chemical derived from mushrooms, but it can also be created during the sake brewing process from fermented rice.

Due to the lightening effect, it's essential it wear sunscreen daily when you use it. In addition, you only to use it on the affected areas.

For my skin , the cheek areas are my main concern hence I'll be using the soap only on those parts. It's good to divide the soap into about 4 parts to make usage easier and less messy.
Another part of the body you can use the soap on is the armpit. If you have dark underarm, you can apply the soap, leave it on for a couple of minutes and then rinse off.

Kojie acid can also be used to treat  sun-damage, melasma, or the common post-inflammatory pigmentation, dark spots that occur after acne, bug bites, or injuries and it can also  improve under eye circles that are a result of hyperpigmentation.

Aside the soap form, there is the serum and lotion too. However, I won't advice you dabble in lotions unless you can wear body sunscreen lotion daily. I don't see the need to lighten your body anyway.
